Things that made me happy (on our family road trip) this week:
1. Sleeping in a Castle! (I'll tell you more about this later.)
2. A safe and uneventful (no mishaps) drive to the Mississippi and back.
3. Spending time with one of my brothers, his wife, and daughter.
4. Spotting a Bobcat running across the road in Missouri.
5. A drive along the Mississippi River – gazing at the beautiful American Lotus.
