There are lots of memories inside our minds – sometimes we just need a little nudge to coax them out.
What are the first things that come to mind when you see the word call?
1. When I was little there was a number you could call on the phone to get the correct time. A recorded voice would come on the line and say: The time is now "10:15" AM.
2. Back when I was in grade/middle-school – before there was caller ID – my friends and I would look up boys from school in the phone book and call their house. If they answered we usually got nervous and hung up.
3. Sometimes, when we lived in the city, my mom would ask my sister or I to tell our brother it was time for dinner. We would stand on our front porch and call out his name, "DOUG it's time for DINNER!" - at the top of our lungs. Somehow, I don't think that was proper city etiquette.
