There are lots of memories inside our minds – sometimes we just need a little nudge to coax them out.

What are the first things that come to mind when you READ this:

Scatter

My List:

1. The Roach House – Many years ago Kevin and I rented an old house to live in while we were waiting for our house to be built. My sister-in-law warned me about the possibility of roaches in the house (which totally freaked me out) so, we purchased and arsenal of bug spray & bug bombs to ward off unwanted visitors. Regardless of how much poison we drenched the house with – when we turned on the kitchen lights during the night we'd get of glimpse of those creepy things as they scattered from sight.

2.  Scatter Sunshine – A hymn my dad seemed to enjoy singing in church had lyrics that said:

In a world where sorrow
Ever will be known,
Where are found the needy
And the sad and lone,
How much joy and comfort
You can all bestow,
If you scatter sunshine
Ev’rywhere you go.

[Chorus]Scatter sunshine all along your way.
Cheer and bless and brighten
Ev’ry passing day.
Scatter sunshine all along your way.
Cheer and bless and brighten
Ev’ry passing day.

3.  Scattered Pearls – My mom gave me a pearl necklace. My daughter was playing with it and the string broke. The pearls landed on our wood floor and scattered in every direction. We collected as many as we could find and put them into a plastic ziplock bag.
